ABOUT ELSA

Elsa Lola Sim was born in Cambridge (not that Cambridge) and did her BFA in illustration at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. She moved to Scotland in 2025 to get married.

Elsa’s work comes from a place of wonder and appreciation for every cloud in the sky and every leaf on every tree. She wants her art to feel like ‘coming home’, both for her when she creates it and for you when you receive it.

AWARDS

• 2020 - First place in the Best Storytelling category of the Red Shoe Awards, a juried competition at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.

• 2011 (aged 12) - Blue Award at the Minnesota State Fair.
